It's about finding where you belong, learning to trust again, overcoming prejudice and discovering that love often appears when we're least prepared to accept it.
A world built on loyalty
Creating the world behind this series became one of my favourite parts of writing. Every pack has its own traditions. Every territory has its own history. Every character carries responsibilities that extend far beyond themselves.
I wanted the supernatural world to feel believable because the people living in resemble reality. Their fears, hopes and relationships are as real as our own.
Characters who choose their own path
The characters in Where the Wild Claims You are shaped by difficult choices. They aren't perfect heroes or flawless heroines. They question themselves, make mistakes, carry emotional scars and when love finally finds them, they have to decide whether they're willing to risk everything they've ever known.
Those emotional journeys matter far more to me than the fantasy itself. The wolves may shape the world, but it's the people who shape the story.
The beginning of a larger journey
Where the Wild Claims You - Broken borders is the first book in this serie.
While each novel tells its own complete romance, the world continues to grow with every new story, introducing new characters, new conflicts and new relationships.
Readers will return to familiar faces while discovering entirely new journeys within the same universe.
Why I love writing fantasy romance
Fantasy gives us the freedom to explore very real emotions in extraordinary worlds. By adding ancient bonds, supernatural abilities and dangerous enemies, the emotional stakes become even greater.
At its heart, though, this story is still about love. About choosing one another. About family, both the one we're born into and the one we create ourselves. Those themes never change, no matter how wild the world becomes.
